    Hold the ball gently; relax the shoulders.

  2. 02

    Part the Wild Horse’s Mane

    Part the mane; one hand rises, one hand lowers.

  3. 03

    Single Whip

    One hand hooks; one hand opens.

  4. 04

    Wave Hands Like Clouds

    Soft hands float like clouds.

  5. 05

    Repulse the Monkey

    Step back slowly; one hand pushes.

  6. 06

    Brush Knee

    Brush the knee; push forward.

  7. 07

    Fair Lady Works the Shuttles

    One hand shields; one hand presses.

  8. 08

    Grasp the Peacock’s Tail

    Ward off, roll back, press, push.
